Coyote Moon Slot Machine now Online

IGT have gotten around to releasing an online version of their popular land casino slot machine, Coyote Moon which is pretty much a clone of Wolf Run. This game has been around here in the UK casinos for some time and is still (April 2012) present at Rendezvous casino in Brighton as it happens…not as popular as  Novomatic’s Gaminator slot machines mind you.

The online version of the Coyote Moon slot machine has been given a bit of a facelift although it’s pretty much just a cosmetic one. The thing that hits you first is that the graphics have been touched up – in particular the “Bonus” symbol that appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 – and they feel a bit more “with it”. The sounds too have subtley changed.

In terms of mechanics, the two changes I spotted in the online version of the Coyote Moon slot related to the feature trigger and when you hit a win of more than 10x. When the first two bonus symbols land and you awaut the third, IGT have added the slow spin thing that they do on their Kitty Glitter slot to add to the anticipation. The regular Coyote Moon slot machine in land casinos just gives out that familiar dong as each lands!

The other change is the addition of a “Big Win” animation when you hit more than 10x your stake. In this regard, the Coyote Moon machine follows Siberian Storm and Fire Opals (both recently released online also) and I must say I do like that, although would prefer it to kick in at 25x or something actually worth waiting for LOL.

You are probably already aware that the Coyote Moon slot machine has stacked wilds on all reels and that it has a free spins feature (5 spins) that doesn’t add any extra win multiplier but does add more stacked wilds to each reel.

In my opinion, while the Coyote Moon game has never been one of my favourite slot machines, IGT have done a pretty decent job in freshening it up for online play and with an RTP just shy of 95% that seems quite reasonable. It’s a game designed more for the low/medium roller and provides entertainment even if the really big wins are rare occurences. Check outthe Coyote Moon website for more information.

You can play Coyote Moon at MoneyGaming or IGT’s own Kerching Casino along with other slot machines by IGT and in the former’s case, Aristocrat too.
