Microgaming Slots

Frustratingly for Americans, no Microgaming casinos except for Intertops currently accept US players – a result of the US gambling laws that are in a total mess right now, and even they don’t accept 18 of the US States. It’s a shame because Microgaming slots are the best out there in my opinion, and while US players can play RTG slots, they aren’t quite as graphically rich and there is less choice. For anyone else, then I would recommend Microgaming casinos for slots play any day of the week, not least because there is so much choice, the payout percentages are all 94% plus and the casinos hemselves are strictly licenced and rarely pose a problem.

Pub Fruity – Online Slot Review

Posted By: Dave Letterman

Pub Fruit MachineFor those of you who have decided that the pub isn’t quite so appealing post-smoking ban but with a yearning to play the fruity, you may be pleased to hear, or possibly dismayed depending on your take, that the the good old tradtional English pub fruity has arrived in your sitting room, nudges ‘n’ all! And better than that – it’s bought it’s mean, crooked and somewhat streaky personality with it!

When I was younger, I confess that quite often I used to wander up the road with my last tenner and stand there for an hour or two – luck willing – pressing the buttons, stooping to look up the reels, nudging like mad before the time limit ran out and drinking the cheapest drink they served (lime ‘n’ soda in case you were wondering). But the pub fruity had something about it – something that made you think you were gonna be rich one day, when in actual fact a 70% payout meant you were more likely to be scrabbling under the car seats for lost change.

Mega Moolah Slot Now On Flash Instant Play!

Posted By: Dave Letterman

Mega MoolahMicrogaming‘s most popular “random jackpot” slot, Mega Moolah, is now available on the instant-play Flash casino at 32Red (or King Neptunes for USA players). Mega Moolah combines 4 levels of random jackpot peaking at over £1 million, with a free spins bonus round which features 15 free spins, all wins trebled and since it’s (much delayed) release in 2007 has proved a very popular slot.

The largest of the 4 jackpots starts at £1,000,000 and as I write is currently standing on £2,300,000. In May 2011 a player hit the jackpot on Mega Moolah Summertime for $4.4million! Niiiice! Not bad considering it can be won from as little as £1 a spin. The lowest of the 4 jackpots is a measly £10 and there are two levels inbetween and Mega Moolah is a low/medium variance slot. For the latest jackpot amounts check out the real-time tickers on the front page of my Mega Moolah site.

The jackpot is in itself a bonus round where you get to spin a wheel

Avalon Slot Review (Microgaming)

Avalon Slot Machine

The Avalon slot machine from Microgaming is another of my regular stop-offs at [32Red]. Released in early 2006, it’s a 20-payline free spins slot with a variable multiplier, following in the footsteps of the “Kathmandu” slot from 2005. It was one of Microgaming’s first “coin display” slots which I personally hated (everything showed in coins rather than credits) but thankfully they have since  added an option to choose which way it displays (go to “Options” and tick the “Show As Credits” box), although this doesn’t affect the “win counts” as shown in the picture below.

Isis Online Slot Review [Microgaming]

Isis Slot

Isis is not a slot for the faint-hearted! It’s a high variance slot from Microgaming with a lot of small-paying symbols and the occasional monster, along with a potentially lucrative free spins bonus round offering up to 30 spins at 6x multiplier. The slot was developed in 2005 by Microgaming and has become a real “love it or hate it” slot on the forums. Me? I’m a high variance fan, so I love it – well, like it a lot to be more accurate – but it can be a real bastard at times.

Hitman Slot Machine Review (Microgaming)

Hitman Online Slot Machine

OK…I confess, I love Hitman. I didn’t think I’d see a day where Microgaming came up with a slot that dragged me away from Thunderstruck on a regular basis, but I was wrong. It took 3 years, but finally they did it. That said, it’s had a mixed opinion on the forums – seems like Hitman is a “love it or hate it” slot, but no points for guessing where I lie. It’s medium-high variance, which suits medium/high rollers better, but that’s why I love it: lots of big win potential among the lean spells.

GameOn Pub Fruit Machine

Game On is an online casino fruit machine from Microgaming, an authentic emulation of your traditional UK pub fruitie with nudges, feature board and repeat feature. It is one of a series of online fruit machines developed by this software manufacturer and is good fun, if a bit streaky. Guess that classifies as authentic then!

Cash N Curry Pub Fruitie

Cash N Curry is one in a series of authentic online pub-style fruit machines from Microgaming, complete with feature board and many of the quirky characteristics of your normal UK pub fruitie. On the surface, it’s a relatively straightforward 3-reel slot machine with wagers from 10p to £10 per spin and payouts of up to 500x your bet, but as pub-goers will know these fruit machines have some hidden talents.

What On Earth Slot Review (Microgaming)

Wot On Earth Slot

What On Earth has been around at Microgaming casinos for a while, but remains among the most popular “bonus” slots, free-spins slots aside. Unusually for a “pick ’em” style bonus slot, the bonus round is very entertaining with rewards up to 400x the bet. What On Earth is a low/medium variance slot with 9-paylines, fewer symbols than most slots and three scatter symbols.

Tunzamunni Slot Review (Microgaming)

Tunzamunni Jackpot Slot

Tunzamunni is a progressive jackpot slot available at Microgaming casinos which gives players a chance to win £100,000 (give or take) from a 25 pence bet! It’s a very simple 3-reel 1-payline slot – what you see is what you get – but of all the online jackpot slots, Tunzamunni is among the best slots for offering the chance to win big from such a small wager.
